I'd like to build a research facility for natural philosophers (original meaning there.) I want to see if 2L physics is just a bag of hokey special effects or whether it has "real" meaning.
The classic physics experiments would be the first priority. After that branch out into atmospheric studies, optics, atomic (pixel) physics, investigate the intersticial sim boundary layers, and analyze propogation phenomena.
Why? Well, maybe there are imaginative ways we could learn to use lag, or the wasted time during teleport (where the hell are we during that passage?) Maybe we can discover features and laws of this world that weren't intended by the creators. I don't know; that's why I want to do the research.
Yeah, and maybe publish a scientific journal on the results to pay for the research.
