My other name is Mike Myers, errr whatever...
Don't ever watch *Halloween* sequels, Dr. Loomis will make your head explode. He's such a great actor.

And yes, I realize they're two different Michaels, however I find then equally disturbing.

Haney,

(if you ever manage to find this) :(

<<Right, negative threads addressed to an individual are inappropriate. Here is the more complete statement from the Basic Forum Policies and Etiquette that provides context>>

Yes, I agree that they are inappropriate. But does that mean they should be censored? In my experience negative threads, if they are not locked, tend in the end to resolve themselves.

I think locking is entirely the wrong thing to do. If they feel they have to censor specific comments, then so be it. But a lot of the time they lock a thread leaving the comments intact for all to see for all time, without giving the target a right to reply. Which is worse than censoring.

Personally, I'm all for leaving the whole thing to resolve itself, which they usually do, as Selador says. The hot topic or flame victim of today is usually fizzled out by tomorrow anyway. However, I guess you do have the possibility that someone will dig up an old thread to carry on or reignite the drama at a later date, but then they could just as easily start a new thread on the same theme anyway. So yeah. Just let people slug it out as they please!

Well considering the censorship the last couple days there is not much we can respond to or debate without a thread getting locked. So No need to post a complete thought anymore.

Think I will go play Halo 2 with my kid now least there if he pisses me off I can just shoot him and get on with the game.
