i suggest one more rule - the player attacking must turn on their group tag to communicate what is going on.

So if I'm hosting an event, according to the rules, someone can push gun me, or cage me or kill me? Hmm...sounds like..umm..fun.

I'd be all for it if there was a way to declare timeout to get the things done that I need to get done.

See, that's less a "Fight Club" and more of a game of assasin - what makes it cooler is when you get specific targets and safe zones... that'd be a fun game, too.

Now that is a game I might be interested in. Although if you have the calling card of your victim it makes it easy to track them down... and if your victim decided to take a week off you're basically screwed. But still, if someone can make this work, I'd like to play.

This concept is already a reality in Second Life... You just don't know about it...

It is selfcontained on three private simulators, has a common theme, and is growing in popularity. It uses opposing telehubs as enterance points, is quite well maintained, and officially opens March 1st. The system graduates from alpha to beta tomorrow, and the best part of all.... You can play if for FREE :) I normally don't mention it in the forums because I pretty much gave up on these forums quite a bit ago...

Well, for those who are afraid of being bothered in their main account, I suggest signing up with an ALT account.

That way, if you want to stop playing, just log out and log back into your main account.

I agree with Jauani's rule if everyone else does.. If you are attacking you should have group tag on. Maybe you should have to wait 30 seconds before attacking as well.

However, I still think it should be open season at any time, any where on the account you have signed up in the group, otherwise people will be confused at when they can attack and when they can't.

If you do use an ALT and want everyone to know who they are dealing with, try something like "AltHiro Pendgragon" so everyone knows who they are blasting :)

Prong, SimCast is a totally different concept. Especially due to the fact you're only supposed to use SimCast weapons. And the fact it's medieval- ther're lots of medieval games in SL, and i'm not sure that's what we're talking about. The concept of assasin has been done before, i was a tester. Look up assassin in groups.

If you really need to relate it to something else, it's more like Jessie expanded to the whole grid. Or like the PvP flag schemes you find in other MMOs.

I love the idea Blaze. And Dave Chappelle's Behind the Music parody with Rick James and Charlie Murphy was the hardest I've laughed at TV in as long as I can remember.

I actually had an idea for this a while back, Hiro, and some alpha scripts for it. I had kind of a CnC Renegade style gameplay in mind.

I like this idea. The issue will be the Lee Harvey Oswald types who don't take direction well and will try to nuke every sim that a group member is in.
