I've got to defend Rhaorth here. There is inconsistency when it comes to this type of thing. I don't think there is any hidden agenda, but I can see why many people view it as a double standard or believe there is a clique.

Please do not misunderstand me, I'm not saying that is the case. I am all about consistency though. Something that I see degrading very quickly around here amongst the posters.
I certainly will admit to being inconsistent with my posts. Today for example, I chided folks for policing this thread, then acted as forum cop on another thread. Has nothing to do with a clique that never existed. I'm just over-caffeinated.

I admit this because I am the most humble person in the world. Plus it bumps this thread so more people can read about the cool event the OP is hosting for a worthy charity. :)

should not matter what the ad is for, an ad is an ad

(I am not against what the op is advertising, but just like anything else in SL, it is only what the person says it is, no way to know for sure)

which is why I do not donate to charities in SL

anywho, sorry to come across as a bitch, that was not my intent

I just noticed some ppl get slammed (even on first posts) and others do not
(and yes I know there is one who blatantly advertised under the guise of a question, was not refering to them)

I see lots of threads from posters with little or no post count, get chastised for posting here, when they should have posted elsewhere, and others are accepted readily

wonder what happened to the resmod... maybe we need more resmods LOL

They are taking away the forums... it could be worse, they could be taking away the forums AND Second Life...

I checked out the website before I donated. A really nice RL cause.

Regardless, I have made a resolution today to not be a stand-in ResMod. Or to chastise those who take a turn at it as we deal with this apparent power vacuum.

Raymond, I believe you are a candidate to be a part of a Complaint Free World. Follow the link and get your band: http://www.acomplaintfreeworld.org/
