Amarillo - spanish for yellow, for a nicer sound, pronounce the two Ls as you would in English

To create a cockatiel in SL would require quite a few "prim"s...so I would suggest for a name instead of "prim" ..."Primmy" lol

I'm glad you are having a great time with your new pet Chosen, I've know some really cool cockatiel's for pets...sounds like your's is well on the way to being a great companion for you.

I've heard that you shouldn't whistle at your 'tiel too much, they whistle more if you do...someone please correct me if that is wrong.

It wasn't necessarily my first choice, but he really seems to respond to it. Every time I say it, he bobs his little head up and down a couple times. If I say it a few times in a row, he whistles. I just said it 3 times while I was writing this, and he nodded, whistled, and spun around in place, all at the same time. Clearly, he's made his decision.

So, while the silly Talaxian cook may not have been my favorite character, the physical resemblance is unmistakable, and the bird seems to love the sound of the word. It might take me a little while to get used to the name, but it seems the choice is no longer mine. The little guy's mind is made up.

Thanks, Lucifer, for thinking of it, and huge thanks once again to everyone for all the wonderful suggestions. You've all been of tremendous help.

Very kyoot feller there Chosen. While they aren't good talkers they can be prolific whistlers. I had a male once upon a time who could whistle the entire song I wish I was in Dixie. If you want to try and have him talk don't do a lot of whistling around him.
