If you look in Wikipedia under "Bovril" you will discover that in November 2004 "they" changed the recipe from "beef extract" to "yeast extract".
This makes it a lame Marmite / Vegemite clone with no known raison d'etre. Can anyone offer an explanation for this, or can we all go home now? |
