Ah, but it does! From out point of view time stops at the event horizon of a black hole.

Of course, that's just from out point of view. From the point of view of an object falling into that black hole it flows normally. For that object it's “zoooom – splat”. (sorry for using such a technical term, but it's the only one that really describes it right.)
