It's raining here for the first time in months. Well, more of a light mist really. Or a medium mist I suppose. But then, it really depends on exactly when you look out the window I suppose. You know how the weather can change so fast.
Ok, I just went outside and right at this very moment it's not raining, but there are very low clouds and the air feels very damp. It could start raining again at any moment, or it might just stay like this the rest of the day. Hard to tell. _____________________

They are doing construction in the building right across from my office. A really bright light the workers are using is shining in my eye. I ought to lower my shades so it doens't bother me. The window is about 10 feet away. I'm not sure what I will decide to do. _____________________

I just wired up a 12 blade raid server. It has 6 usb ports. I plugged the usb keyboard in using a usb to ps2 adapter. Dust came out when I applied the power.

I closed the shade about halfway. Just enough to block the offending light. I may go back and open the slats a bit. It seems kind of dark now.

I am sitting at my desk, grading quizzes. The door into the hallway is open and there is an empty Dasani water bottle on the floor in the hall. I can smell the home economics classroom from here and they are baking brownies, I may have to go taste test them.

A friend of mine once went to the effort to make brownies from scratch. She was sorely disappointed that they were no better than the easy-to-make Duncan Hines mix-in-a-box.
I like brownies at Christmas, with peppermint ice cream and hot fudge. _____________________
