With the excessive suspensions of late and the remarkably unpopular suspension of CrisMid, I felt that perhaps the resmods have had it a little rough lately. That's why I've decided to form the North American Resident moderator Love Association (NARmLA). NARmLA's membership is open to everyone sympathetic to personal freedom. Our goal is to end the oppression of residents and moderators who have freely chosen mutual, consensual relationships. We are working to improve public information, to gain public understanding of the benevolent nature of resident/moderator love, and to raise the consciousness of moderator-lovers through our publications, local working groups, international outreach, political and educational activities. NARmLA calls for the empowerment of moderators in all areas, not just in the forums. We support greater economic, political and social opportunities for moderating people and denounce the rampant suspensions that segregate and isolate them in fear and mistrust. We believe forum feelings are a positive life force. We support the rights of moderators as well as residents to choose the partners with whom they wish to share and enjoy their threads. We condemn forum abuse and all forms of coercion. Freely-chosen relationships differ from unwanted posts. Present laws, which focus only on the ARs of the participants, ignore the quality of their relationships. We know that differences in writing ability do not preclude mutual, loving interaction between persons. NARmLA is strongly opposed to ToS laws and all other restrictions which deny residents and moderators the full enjoyment of their threads and control over their own lives. NARmLA does not provide encouragement, referrals or assistance for people seeking forum contacts. NARmLA does not engage in any activities that violate the ToS, nor do we advocate that anyone else should do so. We call for fundamental reform of the laws regarding relations between moderators and residents. Today, many thousands of residents and moderators are unjustly ground into the disfunctional ToS system. Blindly, this system condemns consensual, loving relationships between moderator and resident people. NARmLA's Prisoner Program, with limited resources, works to provide a modicum of humanity to some of these people. NARmLA is a political, civil rights, and educational organization. We provide factual information and help educate society about the positive and beneficial nature of resident/moderator love. Become an active member! You can help in this historic struggle!

You know, if you poke a bear in the ass with a sharp stick long enough, it will eat you.

reminds me of a joke about bears. While in Yellowstone Park, I got talking with a ranger; she advised not to go into the woods without bear bells. Now I had to ask what bear bells were, and she explained that as you walk they jingle alerting the bears you are coming. But she was quick to warn us to stay out of black bear teritory. I ask how you can tell and she replied "Just look at their droppings, brown bear droppings have seeds, black bear droppings have bear bells."
Not all the resmods live in north america.

From: Ewan Took Didn't someone get suspended over this kind of thread? Yes. Parodies are not allowed in the forums (unless, of course, you're a member of NARmLA).

I want to join and share my resident/moderator love with the world, while simultaneously recreating parodic posts that were lost on resmods the first time around. Yeah!

(you know it just HAS to be done.. you know.. for the love)

Mmm. A post from a resmod, a Linden, and a move to the Sandbox. As a member of NARmLA, I declare this thread positively erotic. ~Ulrika~

What makes her tick?
07-28-2006 13:59
I find it intriguing how someone with such obvious intelligence and talent can appear to have such a total lack of social skills. Why is it that she has this compulsion to be as disruptive and annoying as possible? Is it boredom? Frustration? Arrogance? Egomania? Elitism? Performance art? An attempt to right perceived wrongs? A need for attention? Personally, my money is on boredom. People with extremely high IQ's tend to get bored rather quickly by pretty much everything. She would make a fascinating case study for someone's PhD thesis in behavioral psychology. That's not meant in a bad way. I would love to get a glimps at what goes on in her head.

From: Vares Solvang Performance art? An attempt to right perceived wrongs? Yes. I've also heard that Uma has a keen sense of ethics and holds those around her (especially those in power) to the highest standards. Her methods of communication can be seen as subversive yet there's always a message behind it, if the reader is but capable of grasping it. Or so I've heard. ~Ulrika~
