So I'm housesitting this week for a family that keeps 4 llamas. They're pretty nice, if a bit skittish. Did you know that llamas don't have front upper teeth (and therefore can't bite)? They really do try to hock a loogie if you startle them, though. <.< >.>

Seriously. The other stuff is hogwash but honestly and seriously, llamas and alpacas do not like having their ears touched. So I'm housesitting this week for a family that keeps 4 llamas. Unless you compare that number to what other animals eat and also look at the size of the other animals, the population of the other animals, the nutritional content of the food that gets eaten and other salient facts, the amount of food, fast or otherwise, that is consumed in any one llama is immaterial. ... There's a lot to dislike about llamas. There's a lot to like about llamas as well. You are using a page of statistics you got somewhere -- probably Harpers they love doing crap like this -- to try and paint some terribly ugly picture when it simply isn't true.
