I have no interest whatsoever in the Lindens' blogs. I haven't read any, nor do I intend to. I just can't bring myself to care about their chattering on about themselves.

#1 reason- I really dont care how your life is today. Life's a bitch!! Deal with it!

The few I've tried to do end up not being used because really- Do I care to tell you how sucky my day was? Nope! Dont care what the rest of the world is doing either really.

I dont like blogs either. But since my favorite "NEW PRODUCTS-CLOTHING" will be gone..I will be FORCED to search out the designers blogs for updates!

Cant we get an inworld petition to stop the forums from leaving? A HUGE protest? It worked for Kin

Im really MAD that they wont have the forums here for one stop shopping/viewing/chatter. I cant believe they are doing this!

I have no interest in reading anyone's blog. Am I missing something? I find the majority of them mind numbingly boring. And sadly, they are also often a venue for self agrandizing individuals who want to hear themselves type, although not always. The only time I'll seek out a blog to read is if I hear someone has trashed me or someone I know. Then I'm in a position where I feel I have to defend myself against the utter tripe that's spewed in them.

I've always enjoyed forums on the hand for some reason. Perhaps because there is more of an active participation from the posters. I'm not sure. Is there a difference?

What about you guys?

I don't like blogs either:/
I really wish LL would reconsider keeping the forums

I remember first getting on the Internets and then finding the World Wide Web, and all these "hyper-link" things tripped me out. It seems so natural now after clicking through so many times, but when I first started out... I was like "This is like HyperCard (the old Mac program), only other people are involved!" I know, naive.

I promise won't bitch on the Official Linden Blog about how bad my life is tho (a la the Livejournal "My Life Sucks" game)... I'm pretty grateful to be here, blog, forum, whatever computery thing it takes to communicate.

But maybe I should post pictures of GOREAN TREATS. Mmmm mmm devotionally good.

Aww... poor Torley. Just wanted to let you know it's nothing personal...this thread was just about how I feel about blogs in the general sense and I certainly wasn't singling out any specific ones.

We'll all survive though... with or without the forums, blogs or no blogs. So far no one has died yet so try not to be too upset about work. It's just work.

i don't see how others make blogs that are dedicated to something.

i actually spent 15 minutes of my life reading "to day i got on SL. i bought something from -store-. i like it. it's quality. then i founf out it was a freebie...lame"

and on and on step by step of this guy's SL drabblings...
