Upside - Great paint, powerful engine, inexpensive and great for beach landings.
Downside - Cramped, little cargo space, minimal avionics, needs lots of right rudder.
C150s are venerable trainers. They are not difficult to fly, but they are alot of work to keep straight and level.

I am so uncomfortable in a highwing like a cessna. The closest I've come was flying right seat in the caravan...meh so motion sick.

True, highwings are bouncier, but the view is better. Tail draggers are hard to taxi because of the high angle. Although I am not endorsed for DeHavilland Beavers, they are often flown from the left window because of obscured views. |
