Constant Crashinf when trying to TP

Every time I try to TP,, I crash!!!! Yes,, 100% of the time!!!!!

I've put in at ticket and followed all suggestions with no luck. I also ran a diagnostic at the Linden's request and submitted the results and STILL haven't heard from them.

What I plan to do this afternoon is un-install my current version of SL and install and older, more stable version with the Cool Viewer addition. Hopefully,,, that will work.

Any suggestions??? I hate being under 'House arrest in SL.

join the club .. been facing the same problem for over a month now .. un-installing and reinstalling the viewer wont help, i have tried ... but maybe your luck will be better than mine .. my ticket been saying work in progress for a month too no answer .

Are the Lindens really trying to sink SL???? It sure seems so.

From what I can see and also hearing so many similar complaints, the SL platform is more unstable now then it has ever been!

SL comes out with all these new enhancements while all of the old instability problems still exist. It's like trying to re-arrange the deck chairs on the Titanic after she hit the ice burg!

I have started having this problem too

Now it's actually getting worse. Almost every time I go into my Preferences and make a change, I crash.

This new glitch along with not being able to teleport is ruining the SL experience for me!

Are we seeing the end of SL as a viable form of enjoyment????? I'm beginning to think so.

your wearing too many items . or


or your inventory is a mess too much in an one folder.
your root folder should have few items and folders
your objects folder should be nice and clean or very few items

Well,, I'm definitely not wearing too many items

My inventory really dosn't have too much in any one folder. It actually hasn't changed much in the last year

My root folder is as you say it should be regarding items and additional folders.

But my objects folder does have a bit in it and I've meant to clean it out . Maybe 30 to 40 items at present. Is that too much?

look at your avatar rendering costs ....

turn on the advanced menu ctrl alt D

go to advanced menu at top

Rendering .... info Displays ... Avatar rendering cost

now look at number above your head it should be well below 1000

if its green your fine ... yellow ...well your getting and causing lag
red and above say 1500 your stuck home and if ya tp then its by grace of sl.

take off some high prim items or huds and watch the numbers fall.
look around at the other folks you can see their costs too.
if they are in the 1500 or 2k they cause your lag so don't look at them


and clean up your inventory if any folder contains many items like in the hundreds , make new subfolders

I've the same issue, plus the added fun of not being able to see my groups.....any suggestions for that?

Check that, same problems here. I also can't see my groups as well if you read the whole thing.
