Snapshot crashing

Thanks Lindens for finding my bug.. I'm hopful it's helped alot more of us out there.

still happening after taking snapshots, clicking on items like poseballs instant crash

They're probably going to make us wait til next Wednesday before they fix this. I know it's driving me batshit insane trying to take pics of my avs while this is going on. Touching the HUD for my avs immediately makes me crash, which makes it difficult when I want to take pics of stuff that uses the HUD.

Saving to HD or sending post card causes full crash. Still.

When I was getting crashes on taking snaps in 1.8 my workaround was to quit and pull the saved image out of my profile directory instead of taking a snap.

(yes, I know it's just a workaround, but some of you folks need to take snaps *now* instead of waiting for Wednesday... so it might help)

i'm still crashing of course. i imagine that the fix won't be out until wednesday for this? I mean I HOPE it will be! lol... i don't think its a hardware link as it happens on my laptop with centrino duo. it happens on my pc desktop with a p4 2 gig with 256meg nvidia card (lappy has x1600 radeon mobility). it happens on my roomies pc which is different from both my systems. it happens even when i don't save the snapshot. even if i discard it i still crash after clicking on something, and not just a scripted item like my pose stand. it happens no matter what. soon as i click on anything after the snapshot, poof, i'm outta there.

on another note, i wish that we could have our choice of set ups for taking snapshots. the way it was set up before was a lot better for me. To take shots of flex hair for instance... all you had to do was to keep clicking snapshot to update it, or keep hitting ctrl shift s for taking shots rapidly. you can't do that now. and renewing the snapshot takes longer and by the time you click to renew it the shot you really wanted has passed. any chance that the ability to take more rapid sequences of photos will be returned?

Well, at the very least I'm relieved its not just me thats crashing, and the very most I'm flusterbated cause I can't get shots for my store.

I'm having the same crash with pics mostly those saved to HD, but then occassionally I'm successful (maybe 1 out of 5 tries) and think...ohh good, then hit the Huddles to change a pose or even stop the pose and kaboom.
