From: someone Originally posted by Sensual Casanova oh I found it, if you go into search type in cache, and then advanced, then show hidden folders...
anyone know how to take this feature off of XP? Open Windows Explorer Select "Tools"|"Folder Options" from the menu click on the "View" tab in the "Advanced Settings" list, find "Hidden files and folders" There will be two radio buttons underneath, select the one that says "Show hidden files and folders" viola, you can now see hidden files and folders. Also, now that you can see them, you'll notice that hidden file/folder icons are partially transparent/ghostlike when you're browsing files. This is so that you can identify which ones are supposedly "hidden" even though you've turned the feature off.

From: someone Originally posted by Kris Langdon Since 1.4 is up i was in Game for about 10 to 15 minutes right after installation (and some crashes right after connecting to sim). I was flying a distance of about 200 meters and then crashed to desktop (which is buggin me since 1.3 but i am addicted to this game so i didnt payed too much attention to the crashes i already had every 10 to 15 minutes).
Since then i never was able to connect again.
I have tried every possible graphicsetting the nvidias nview lets me set. I installed latest drivers, upgraded bios etc. All in all i spent about 6 or 7 hours tryin out all kinds of things (incl. Voodoo) to get back into the grid. But no chance.
LINDENS!!!!! DO SOMETHING! DOWNGRADE OR FIX IT!!!!!! Thanks to the help of the great community in here i made my way back to sl. I have to confess that the above post was written while i was a bit angry about not beein able to log in. this anger was actually a result of my addiction to this game. Theres NO game in the last 15 years that fascinated me like this (specially when it crashes as often as sl lol). +++++++++++++++++ Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
