Login Failed

Did they get on the short bus or something? For the past couple of weeks its been nothing but a S$%^ Fest. Then today this dork on the blog does absolutly nothing to fix this problem. Comes back onto the blog and says its resolved?!?!?!? Linden Labs better get their heads out of their asses. People won't continue to put up with this crap.......

This is bullshit seems only premium account holders that i know of atm seem to be having these issues get your get your bloody act together i am so sick of these god damned problems pull your fingers out or your arses and do something about it.

I've been on SL for almost a year and haven't found the need to post to the forums as yet - I've always sorted out my own problems or been philosophical about downtime but today has been the straw that has broke the camels's back really - and it seems I'm not alone judging by all the other first time posters in this thread.

Being told you won't be able to log in to your account unless you can travel back in time is a bit daunting :-/

They've re-opened the login issues call on the blog....apparently the issues have "returned"...did they ever go away ??

I have been trying to login for over 3 hours, says my account won't be available unilt 2008/04/11 06:52:54 ........ it is now 10:17 ...... so basically my account should have been available over 3 hours ago ........ getting fed up with all the "issues" on SL if the continue I will be closing my account and I will be informing everyone I know that is thinking about trying SL not to bother.

Right in the middle of an issue, They post a tip of the week????? Thats almost funny if this wasn't so freakin annoying............

so strange the login failure popup shows the same time as the first when it happens..maybe SL needs to fix the clock lol...
..hehe anyone notice the logging in status bar advance a little more each time we login without closing SL after the login failure pop up?
..you think perhaps somehow we can squeeze into SL if we persevere?
sorry i'm going out of my mind...think..should go have another icecream then take a nap XD

yeah i noticed that earlier, but after 3 hours i am not holding my breath.
I also notice that the major SL "issues" always seem to happen on a friday night (for those of us at the bottom of the world) and continue right throughout the weekend and then mystriously become resolved on a monday morning ..................

i was back in as long as i wanted to stand in one spot and turn in circles coz i couldn't move any where and can't tp anywhere, now sitting twiddling my thumbs waiting for it to log me out again ........ ho hum

The term RESOLVED for LL is something else. Mostly for tickets:

"We have resolved your issue....there's nothing we can do about it"

the issue is no longer "RESOLVED" ....... it is now "CLOSED" ......... but not exactly sure what is closed though :-? am still in world but can't move from the spot i am in ............ i haven't been part of the SL family all that long but i must say i prefer it the way it was when i joined at the end of Feb, had far less issues then than there are now, it seems to be down more than it is up these days ...... a BIG waste of my money!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Matt, sorry, was busy elsewhere, seems when i want to tp i have to attempt it at least half a dozen times before it will let me. It is now after 3am in Western Aussie so i am heading to the land of nod and hopefully SL will be working properly (uses the term lossely) tomorrow lol

after two hours yesterday, waiting for login ... i went to bed ...

I thought giving it time it is better for my nerves.

But now .... is morning ... 10 hours later ..............

I STILL CAN'T LOGIN!!!!!!!!!!

The Loggin bar is presented for about 2 minutes ...and then i taking a message "LOGIN FAILED"

Is this a joke???

i am again having the same trouble, status bar doesn't move for 5 or 10 minutes then i get log in failed!!!!! have sent a ticket to the powers that be ...... not that it will do a lot. am so over SL and the crap. ok it has always been a bit laggy and often crashed on me but those were nothing compared to the problems i face now. when i do manage to login i pretty much can't do anything because it is so unstable, at least before i was able to move freely around the place, now i can't even do that

Never had this problem before, but suddenly tonight/this morning (it's 1:30am here) I cannot log in on any computer in this house running SL

Just as everyone has described, the login status bar moves perhaps an inch, then stalls. After a few minutes, I get that little tiny pop up window that says (I swear that pop up sound has a taunt in it)... "Login Failed."

How pathetic. >

what i would like to know is what does LL spend the hard earned cash we that pay to use SL on? it certainly isn't improvements, if it was there wouldn't be so many people having problems or are they just lining their pockets with our RL money?

to see if there is a known problem with the service......(and if you go there you can see "The Second Life grid and the Second Life web site are open." ...open wound they mean!!!)
