Login Failed

Okay I am getting this message repeatedly and it's been a good hour or two and I still can't log into the game. --- Login Failed. The system is logging you out right now. Your account will not be available until 2008-04-10 22:14:30 Pacific Time. I've tried logging in from different locations and all sorts of things and to this very moment I still can't get on.

I am having this problem too, and the time is the same. In-game it says I am online on my profile, but if someone tries to message me, it says I'm not.

Got the same message but with the time was 7am PST which is 6hrs.

Same problem... says my account will be available at 1:15:50PST, which was over 20mins ago now.

I am getting the same message as well; different time.

Yes same problem for me stating 01.17am pdt which was nearly 2 hours ago....

Lodged a ticket with support but hard to know how long that will take to be actioned....

Yes, same here. I sent in a ticket and got a quick reply saying that many people were stuck inworld, and to reopen the ticket if I still couldn't log in 24 hours later. This was nearly 2 hours ago now, still can't log back in. It doesn't look promising

At this point, I can't log in until roughly... 8 hours and 14 minutes ago.

Same thing happening with me.


T'is very stressful/confusing being told you can log in in the past but not the now. *head explodes*

Mmm. Not so bad for me, since I'm without internet most of today anyway, but still sort of distressing.

@Matt808 McMillan they closed your ticket? I can't believe it, and they put in the mail "We have solved your problem"? I can't believe it, they should change that "We have solved your issue" thing when they close a ticket, most of the times they don't solve anything.

oh dear it happened to me about 5hours ago, account supposedly willl be available at 01:30:46pacific time, but i'm still stuck online inworld but not there really lol...and was in the midst of setting up my vendors grrrr...

don't know what to do, so search forum and found this thread..guess the problem's not solved yet.. sad yet it does feel better to know i'm not the only one with the same problem..at least it's not someone logging into my account but some crazy bug out there

Also, while I was trying to log in I received the survey in the logging window... that nice survey that asks you if your Second Life experience is getting worse or better..... let me think, I just don't know....



Edit: Kahiro, they closed my ticket too.

try logging in on the regular SL client. I got on it okay... no problems. Now I hope I didn't jinx myself.

Just re-downloaded the standard client but it didn't do the trick for me, unfortunately!

It's on the server end, they are working on it.

At least someone has taken notice at Linden Labs, and I certainly hope that they are going to do their best to fix the problem.

They claim this issue is resolved on their blog, but i still can't log on. Anybody else?

I can't log in neither! Same message. It isn't "resolved"!

Still the same here, no way is this issue "resolved".

Reopened the ticket I lodged too!

This issue still isn't resolved for me either. The last time I was logged in, I had been taken to what looked like a welcome area, since my home was unavailable. There were a lot of avatars there, and none of them were loading correctly. I closed SecondLife after that, and that's when this issue started happening. Did this happen to anybody else? Could that region be down?

Before you "Resolved" the difficulties ... i hadn't any problem!!!!

Yes, I was told my home Island was "unavailable" and got moved to Orientation Island, of all places. I stayed a few seconds and then managed to TP back home ok. I was doing some building for about five minutes or so then crashed, and haven't been able to get back in since. I'ts been a good six hours now, I think.

been having this problem for the last 8 hours...so I'm not holding my breath, irony being that when I logged off this morning, I let everything close down clean rather than killing the memory leaking client which I usually have to do.
