Cant See Movies

Can see any movies in my house.Have downloaded the new Quicktime.

sorry i mean your box is checks in your perferances? to show vedio.

Yes thanks and have the movie button on bottom screen
and it worked ok before last update.

hit the button on and off once. and try again. meaning if it is on now, turn it off and then back on again.

Did you follow these steps?

1.) Cntl-p
2.) Audio & Video Tab
3.) Streaming Vedio When available (uncheck and recheck it)
4.) The apply Button on the bottom
5.) Then Ok button on the bottom
6.) Restart you second life client ( for good luck )

When try to use Quicktime i get the following error ,:buffer over run detected.Program:C:\program files/Quicktime/quicktime plater.exe.
A buffer over run has been detected.The program can not safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

ok it seems like there is some sort of fire wall problem interfering with action.

are you using wind light client? or the RC ?

file a ticket with support asap and they will help solve this problem. indeed there is a problem so let them handle it.

I was getting a black screen when I started a film until I had all of my films I had purchased updated. Talk to the retailer you bought your film from. Try this free film link and see if you can view it

He can see that free streaming film I posted. So the link of the film he is trying to view has been changed. All of these film stream retailers change their film Urls every once and a while. They do not send automatic updates - I guess hoping that you have viewed the film enough and they save bandwidth. I always contact them and ask for the updates - since they claim the film has unlimited views for a lifetime.

sorry but your confusing...........you said where you bought your film from? What i gather from this thread is he can`t view movies from within sl. Not purchasing films..........
If updates don`t dl auto way, then of course you go dierectly to the site or contact QT directly.......Sorry but your not making sence.

He said he saw the film link I sent him. So it is not SL or quicktime. It is the urls to the films he is trying to view.

From what I understand from your ticket, my guess is that your Quicktime installation is faulty. My advice would be to delete and reinstall it, and if it still doesn't work, to contact the Quicktime support team.
