From: Peggy Paperdoll This trend started about a month ago. Or at least that is when I started noticing it. I contribute it to LL opening up the forums to no payment info on file people (the ones who have yet to contribute a single dime to the game). I'm not going to get into that whole NPIO vs anyone else thing........but I've noticed a fair percentage coming here lately with that "tag" are really demanding, indignant, rude and/or hostile. From their inital post in a thread it's very obvious they haven't even browsed the forums for possilbe issues relating to theirs. And it takes people who only want to offer some possible solutions trying to drag information about their systems so we can het a clue on where to even start. And then we get told we are "snippy" for telling them nothing can be done without information........hell, just go back and read the initial post the OP made for this thread (talk about snippy.....well, if you can decipher the post anyway). Then when a week later they finally post something about their system it turns out they are using some crap computer with next to nothing graphics........we all wasted time trying to help. And they get indignant.........wow!! If you need help, ask. But also think........."Gee, maybe people need to know what I'm trying to use to access SL!" A thread with the title "unblievable" that carries on for what should have been three or four paragraph, but typed as a single sentence........giving no information about their computer is really hard to respond to. We ask for specs......and get nothing back except "I can't get SL to work". From now on I won't even respond in those threads......I'm tired of prying information out of people asking for help. Give us information. And don't demand we fix it for you......we can't even if we wanted to. Be polite......no one here is on LL's payroll. I like to try to help as do a number of others who frequent this forum..........but the only "pay" we get is the kind response when one or more us are successful. And to Osgeld..............I feel your pain.  Yep, and of course people who can't pony up for a decent computer are not likely to poke $10US a month into the economy either, I doubt we have a shortage of campers. Though you probably get a few sucking money out via camping spending none of that on computer upgrades then complaining when their computer is "suddenly" below specs to run SL. So then they try by the minumum spec computer to run SL again. And you get those who somehow are experts on SL without ever having logged in and what it should run on, but can't detail their computer specs promptly for those who could try to help.

You can't delete a post once it's been alive for 10 minutes, I believe. And mods aren't suer active.so this will float around until it just gets forgotten. Actually, your posting again probably delayed that, as is me posting.

Unfortunately, I rarely respond to threads that start with some unfathomable heading.. it is useually a sign of a Drama Queen... and this one proves it. I'd rather help those that are more deserving. Michael12 Oh, my advice is you use the search function, it works very well and will probably bring up the answers you seek. It is doubtful you will receive anymore Human help until you learn the basics of human socialisim. Good Luck.
