No more DI? TAKE TRAFFIC OFF ALL STATS, AND LETS ALL SIT BACK AND RELAX. Lets all take a vacation from building, creating, planning, hosting, and see what a NOOB SEES. A bunch of lazy av's. There is no easy answer here, there is no solution, except LL took a stand, now lets all follow their lead. There is no incentive to do it, lets all have a party and relax a little.
This is just my opinion from experiance, good luck to all that feel they can find an answer, it is not an easy task your taking on.

Thanks Sammy, my feelings exactly!

Getting back to the forum's purpose, I think anything involving a lot of red tape and Linden staff time will go over like a lead balloon. We really need a genius to chime in here with a system that will be easy to understand and can be automated. Any system can be gamed, so that is actually less of a consideration that whether the system would actually encourage and reward innovative and interesting content.

Twelve residents interested in seeing what Linden Labs plans were for post DI took a one hour meeting with Robin Linden today. Robin told us that Linden Labs has no post-DI plans for SL Content Providers.

But this short-sighted plan of Linden Labs does not derail our plans to continue to organize SL Content Providers and continue to educate Linden Labs a to the important role Content Providers play in SL. If Linden Labs can continue to pay, what Robin called 'welfare' to resident volunteer instructors and offer $4,000 fellowships, they certainly can support the people that work to give the community and Linden Labs things to do on a daily basis in SL.

I have begun setting up a website for SL Content Providers and I am making a plot of my land the permanent meeting place for the Second Life Content Provider Association. All are welcome to become members of this group and help with the website and land design.
