Without mentioning anything that's been said before...

I think the sit-hack teleporter could be considered ground-breaking. I'm not entirely sure who figured out this trick, but Kex Godel wrote the first implementation I ever saw. That possibility has influenced how properties and builds are laid out.

Another one is Cristiano's Snapzilla which has really changed the way people share photos and memories with each other :)

Oh yeah almost forgot about teleporters, lets not forget the llSetPos() based teleporter, made it so you can get up to 768m2 high and anywhere in the sim below that height. Cubey's Mark III teleporter is the best example.

Oooo gosh. What a great thread. I like a lot of the aforenamed schtuff.

There's so much here that hasn't been done, but when it does, it'll confuzzle at first, but then the dam will break and the positive influence will spread.

A lot's to come with HUDs...

Maybe we'll finally get a back button like a web browser. RUR RUR RUR!

I am not sure if it is ground-breaking or not, but Snapzilla has certainly added something to SL. We now have a visual history of the past year of life in SL, even if it is mostly pictures of Willow Zander saying "OMG LOOK AT MY NEW SKIN" :)

RateMyAv.com was pretty groundbreaking. Right now it's broken... and I can't get it off the ground... damn.

Luskwood avatars, it raised to bar on the quality of furry avatars available.

My skins were the first widely available, reasonably priced furry skins in SL but the impact on the game wasn't more than a blip in the grand sheme of things.

Max Case's Builder's Eye. If you're working on any large build, you need one of these things. Just never focus camera on yourself in it!

Cubey Terra's HUD-based Terra SPEED gadget has made me dump X-Flight after one day of using it. It hovers more reliably, the Ludicrous speed setting is faster, and the precise altitude controls are more useful. And it listens on /1, so you don't have to babble "X whatever" out loud.

Prim Hair and Prim Boots. The built-in hair is abominable, and the built-in feet are so tiny they'd make a Mandarin princess squeamish.

We now have a visual history of the past year of life in SL, even if it is mostly pictures of Willow Zander saying "OMG LOOK AT MY NEW SKIN" :) It has also become a verb, like Tivo, which is kind of cool I think. I am excited for the integration of HTML finally into SL - it will open up even more possibilities for sharing.

OI!!!!

I'm starting to catalogue them so SHUSH. ( think about it, ppl can just search for skins and find out what they look like in sl close up!)

ZOMG you are the one star rater :O

Seriously tho, I think what I think is just to echo everything everyone said in here, but YEAH.. THANK GOD FOR SKINS AND PRIM HAIR!
