So lastnight, I was in world working on my Linden bear collection and enjoying myself with old time friends, collecting resident bears... and this guy IM's me and starts talking to me, "hey how you been?" you know the usual? SO I replied, " I am doing good, you?" you know the usual... About 5 minutes into the conversation he asks me if I am seeing anyone, I said do you mean in SL or RL?, he said both.. I said well I am married... he then starts accusing me of lying and saying there is no partner in my profile etc etc... I was like ummm... I AM MARRIED IRL, HAPPILY, for 11 years now! He is still confused on how I can be married and I have no partner in my profile... I am like, dude, my husband doesn't play SL! Anyways... this isn't the first time this has happened to me, do people forget that life exists outside of SL? I think we need to be able to type what we want in that partner tab, or have a "NOT INTERESTED" option... Has this happen to anyone before? I am laughing at the conversation I had with this guy now... but last night it was very annoying  |

lol... you know the sad thing is, this guy is very popular in the Sl community and I had respect for him, now he just seems like an ignorant desperate man...  It is really disturbing me... tip for all you men out there: I have nothing against SL relationships, I was in one before... but for the Love of God use some common sense... and for future references, I am not looking for a SL man, maybe a sub or slave, but I can't handle a man I can't boss around, not in SL and not Irl, LOL  |

That's a pretty funny story Sensual, but only because I myself have had to deal with similar situations in the past in dealing with guys who are a few fries short of a Happy Meal. The 2nd and last line in my SL Profile is- "No, I'm not looking for a relationship."Does that seem to stop people? Oh, no.. now I'm just playing "hard to get"..  |

Of cours ethe flip side always amuses me, too. I have had people go ballistic on me when they tell the they are married IRL and I say, weill thank you , but I am not interested in playing SL relationship with a married woman. Friends I can do, but not more.

LOL - I have it in my profile, my RL husband is in SL, listed as my SL husband, and I'm old enough to be a grandmother, a fact that I don't hide. Seems to make little difference. Some guy landed on our property and hit on me right in front of hubby. Schwans sheep really came in handy, my husband dropped one in his inventory and wisked him away. WOOSH!! I had considered asking them if they would like a RL nude pic of me and then giving them one of that nude guy with the beard at the computer. Just to make them think a bit about who they could be cybering with... Like they might care, maybe? .
