This doesnt really fall into the same category of funny that you suggest, but yesterday I saw a guy playing Prim Attack named, WillYouRideOnMy Pole.

Next time your in world, use find to search groups for the, Clever Nicknames Club. They have an amusing roster.

While doing an in world verification of the much debated name2key database, I noticed the key that was formerly attributed to the user Humpmy Pole is now associated with the more PG friendly name LeGrand Pole!

Apparently the Lindens aren't big fans of this particular "category of funny"! :D



* As a side note, this kind of name change is one reason why a serious name2key tool needs to be verified and updated constantly in order to be viable.

I remember seeing Humpmy Pole looking like they were quite new, asking how to do a lot of things and a completely unmodified avatar.

How come you guys are mentioning names that arent on the names list? Was there another selection before, or does it change often?

Also can one change their SL name?

At this time, one cannot. :) The only way to get a new name is to register a new account.

maybe someone failed to make the name.

if you try to take a name, and the process fails, the name becomes unavailable, even though it wasn't created.
