From: Dr Tardis has anybody noticed that those signs go away when you click on them? If we just click on every one we see, maybe they'll stay gone! Some of the signs don't go away when they are touched, they change to smiley faces. Some of the signs are multi-panel, so that you have to touch them 4 times to make them go away.

ATM there are no less than 12 active threads about this issue. He's getting attention, and if people are buying the land he's getting rich too. What I question is LL's over the top tolerance of this, esp. if pple are leaving SL specifically because of this guy. I am considering leaving SL for other reasons (poor performance issues), but if LL continues to also support the land extortion I would also be leaving because I refuse to pay for this kind of griefing to continue. Why should I support a company that condones this behavior? I already pay taxes to support a war I hate in rl, why should I pay for more of what I can't condone in my fantasy life?

From: Nolan Nash I've been wondering if Lazarus himself actually understands what it means. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he doesn't. Having spoken with him on the subject he made the claim that he was more interested in the impeachment hearings than the result. That stance would suggest he does, in fact, understand what it means.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I'm just a lot more patient. There are already enough things to be unhappy with about SL without a wholely unnecessary one being forced upon us, with the Lindens insisting on interpreting it as a free speech issue rather than a widespread griefing one. But eventually, the cons will outweigh the pros to owning land. I CAN perfectly easily continue to build and sell and have fun without owning a shop, though that is much less preferable and less fun. So there will come a point where I just feel like a fool paying the Lindens for this land, unless things improve. I'm just not there yet. coco
