Your oppinion on furries

I posted this thread for myself to learn what everyone thought of furries outside of SL.
Cause i havnt seen many sides of the story until now when i entered the forums.

BTW im not a furry in RL just SL. yep...just so ya know.

Actually, those weren't my top concerns. But yeah, the stink is pretty grand. As like in most conventions, the attendies use the hot tub as a subsitute for a bath.

I am truly sorry, i have no dislike of furries at all...

but if i see another "what do you think of furries" or "down with furries" thread, i will have a hard time from poking my eyes out with a dull pencil -.-

I think they are silly for the main reason that if they don't agree with your opinion even though they asked for it, you are going to hear about it.

From now on when these topics pop up i'm going to start posting huge pictures of trolls in them...

Ive yet to meet a furry who wasnt friendly. Ive never had a furry toss a grenade in my house. If some furries wanted to have sex in my lounge upstairs, Id crank the tunes and serve popcorn. I spent last night hanging out with a furry friend, and shes absolutely delightful. ( hi Litoya) One of the glories of an environment such as SL, is the ability to submerge in the anonymity. Be anything. And if you wish to wear a fur suit and slap on a snout and call yourself flufferputty or something, well by all means INDULGE YOURSELF! And to those who would frown upon such activity, tell em to get off their high horse and blow themselves. Its your game too.

I also agree with Allana Dion. I am the same way: I have a bunch of different furry avatars for expressing my different moods, but my main avatar is human. I feel like I can be more laid-back and be silly as a furry, and I even tend to be more social.

Yeah it's pretty much the best sim ever.

I really really don't understand what the big deal is with furries. The only reason why they gather so much of mixed reaction is the simple fact that many think that Vanity Fair is a form of fair, balanced journalism.

I consider myself furry. technically though I'm... a mishmash of several things. Cybernetic velociraptor... no fur, no scales... but I like furry art, I like furries in general, I get along great with them and they're an awesome bunch. Oh yes, I have attended furry conventions, and I loved it. It's an inspiration to see beacons of creativity in a world where creativity lacks severely. (take a look at the latest Hollywood releases and you'll see what I mean).

If you like furries, fine, if you don't, fine. You're entitled to your opinion, and I don't really see a point in this thread existing rather than it being a way for people to voice their opinion to validate their self-worth and esteem in life. It's not a bad thing, but when you start getting cocky and arrogant over another fandom, then it just starts getting... well... sad.

I am a little lost and afraid to look it myself for fear of any spy ware I might receive in the process...

I am not TG. And that doesn't seem to have anything to do with Being a furry. Seems like a human could do that just as easy....
