I'll miss the forums. Stricter moderation (by a volunteer force WITH powers) would have kept the forums on topic and kicked out all the whiners and trolls..

Unfortunately, company-run fora never do this, because they're too afraid of alienating their customers. That's why no one is less qualified to run a game's fora than the developers. Closing these down and forcing the discussions to move to third-party sites is the best way to see that some decent, usable communications channels open up between LL and its community. |
