From: Kalel Venkman .There is also the "Fallen Angel" sculpture, near the center of the sim on a green hillside, and a giant robot you can fly up into that looks like a dead ringer for Gigantor, and an amazing working clock with turning gears, and much more.
Great, now that Gigantor song is stuck in my head.

From: Kalel Venkman .. a prim lined up exactly right on a translation, then release the mouse buttion AND HAVE THE PRIM SLIDE RIGHT BACK TO WHERE IT WAS BY ITSELF? That's one of my favorite prim tricks. It's like it's on an elastic band.
yea, me <3 that.

It will do that if it's linked. I haven't had them slide back otherwise. Then you have to unlink it. coco

coco S'not true. It happens if you move unlinked things too. Often I find it does MORE damage if you move a group of unlinked things. I always make a drag-copy of anything I plan to edit before I edit it so the original's never lost.

From: Siobhan Taylor I think it's a karmic effect due to the imminent closure of all the drama-forums... All the drama's slowly seeping back into the asshat server, and into each and every prim you're building with. Siobhan's theory makes sense. It explains why lag has gotten so much worse, too. Last night I merely wanted to line up two flat prim vendors in a shop, rotating them to a different wall. It USED to be a simple matter of SHIFT+clicking them both to select, then CTRL spinning them til they were close. Fine adjustments could be made in the rotation fields. But noooooo. They turned, alright, then when they were almost where I wanted them, one of the prims decided to go to sleep. I ended up with one prim where I wanted it and the other one at a weird angle. It wasn't a major deal to fix, but it's just another good example of how even the simplest things don't work any more.

eesh.... glad it isn't only me... I thought it was just the SIM I live in that was going down the drain. Bona has been sweet for months. Easy to build in, hardly any lag at all and now I can't even walk smoothly let alone do anything serious like editing a simple 10 line script. There is rarely more than myself in the Sim and I own over half of it so I know pretty much what is going on at any given time... which is usually not much. And as for flying.... arms up.... wait... wait.... wait.... release key.... wait.... wait... give up and log off..... It is rare I have had cause to complain about SL but I now wonder whether it is worth logging in before I start, and usually realise shortly after that it wasn't.
