It could be like a platinum grid for the ultra-non-trouble-makers. We'd be secretive and mysterious and only turn up on the main grid once in a while to tour the ravaged war-torn landscape in a bus with a Linden tour guide.

And LL can as AMEX bill at least ONE ZERO MORE behind the yearly fee... /Tina _____________________

I want a tour to the Geezer Grid, and stare and point at the old timers.
And push their wheelchairs way to hard. _____________________

Nobody under 30 trusts anyone over 35 any-how. ![]() LOL, Axel... |

How are you so sure the geezers won't be putting on "hawt" skins/shapes/couture?

Well, there isn't really a reason to totaly seperate it. Just make it not connected to the mainland and group-only, some Lindens writes a script that automaticly gives everyone over the age of 50 membership in the "Geezer Group", and there yah go. Our valued older folk get a nice private area but can easily tele to the mainland when they want something here.

It could be like a platinum grid for the ultra-non-trouble-makers. We'd be secretive and mysterious and only turn up on the main grid once in a while to tour the ravaged war-torn landscape in a bus with a Linden tour guide. Our Geezer Grid is Parrot Island. We hardly ever leave, except to hit the mainland every once in a while to remind ourselved why paying for an estate is worth it. We like the visitors that we get and we are happy when they enjoy our place (and buy our pools.) And we have the ability to do what Pol Tabla said if we get cranky. We even tried living in Brown at first. As an officially Zoned residential community, we thought we could avoid the craziness of the rest of the grid. Unfortunately, it was never seriously enforced. Outside of Boardman and the City Sims, it is rare to find anything other than pockets of sanity out there. This is all part of LL's master plan to get people to buy private sims. _____________________

The color sims are already kind of like SL's retirement home - lots of old avatars.

We have seen several of your finely crafted AV's riding our jetskis! I didn't know you had a macaw - I will have to stop by and pick one up. _____________________

I'd be very happy with an appointment as Liaison to the Geezer Grid, being extremely ancient myself (though not as ancient as Psyra). I fully understand the condition and shan't complain about picking up lost items - bus passes, knickers, teeth.
From there we can plot to take over the world. Or at least have some tea while we're thinking about it. |

Can I come to the geezer grid? I'm only 25, but I'm old and jaded mentally, and my av is approaching decrepit.

I'm starting a self-push to redo new versions of some of my original birds (magpie, raven, cockatoo) and adding the macaw to the list. ^^ _____________________

Where are all the old folks's homes in Second Life? Lush retirement places where Avatars live out their Golden Years. And I have great difficulty finding elderly-appearing avatars too. I once went on a search for some wizened monks...
I volunteer my father from a parallel timeline, time-travel aside. _____________________
