I like the idea of freebie content at the telehubs, but I wish it would rotate or something... libby linden posted about monthly submission waves which implies rotation |

Thanks Travis  Maybe there is hope for this idea after all. Perhaps if there were alternative ways people could direct traffic to their projects other than people's freebie content they would feel more comfortable letting this one go? Also, freebie content rotation at telehubs may be a case FOR having freebies available in your inventory as some items people want may not be available at some times. |

I spent my first few days as a resident dropping in at various events and feeling mostly lost.
Then I discovered that useful items could be found in freebie boxes and I began seeking them out. I was visiting places and exploring with a mission. Personally, I think that's better than having everything handed to you.

I suggested an idea very much like this long ago, more for scripts than for objects, but the post appears to have vanished when the Lindens deleted the Scripting Tips forum.
This idea applied to all inventory items would eliminate the need for places such as Yadni's Junkyard, wouldn't it?
At any rate, for scripters, a universally available supply of public domain scripts, with the script text searchable , would be a great boon.
