I look at random objects such tables, chairs, doors and buildings and wonder how many prims it would take to build them.

1.) You get annoyed at not being able to touch an item and automatically change your hair style.

2.) You're so used to the controllers of SL actually listening to the people of SL that you begin to believe your RL government will do the same.

3.) You start thinking that bullets can't hurt you unless you have a heart.

4.) You believe that there is no spoon unless you go to the Junkyard and buy one in a pack for L$1.

5.) You except 99% of people to be open and friendly.

6.) When you run out of money, you start inspecting every tree you pass.

7.) You try to get free spins out of Slot machines when you're skint.

8.) You don't even blink twice at the sight of a furry and a man in a vicar's outfit chatting idly about the music being played on the radio.

9.) You get upset by the lack of usable particles in RL.

10.) You stop and stare at a man in a propeller hat because attachments can't rotate.

It's definitely a sign you're in SL too much when you lose 10 pounds because you forget to eat because you're too involved in the game.

Thats only temporary... eventually you will just surround your desk with munchies so they are within reach and not to interefere with your SL time! :D

- I say "lol" in my head all the time.

- Started to say "wooty" outloud. Hmmm wonder how that'll be when I take my best friend to the male strippers this weekend?? Hum.

- Like Elika, have lost weight (hahaha so being the great friend she is I hear, "did you eat dinner today?" alot from her). Like Sens just said, I am starting to have munchies stashed near the computer.

- Uhmmmm oh right, I do try to use the alt mouse button to get a better look at webpages and various things on my computer. Dissapointment ensues after I realize that doesn't work.

I like it when the game is down because (a) the forums get more lively and with more diverse people, (b) I have a fond hope that SL addicts are spending their time on the shopping sites, too, and maybe buying my stuff, and (c) I don't feel guilty for doing other work during the day instead of SL work.

Yes! You can feel guilty for doing real life instead of SL! haha

I am always torn between this or getting my own soda fountain next to my computer desk.

Of course I would fill it with rum and punch. :D

I keep looking for the ban option to ban my boss from my office.
When the phone rings I look for the IM window
When I went to buy lunch today I looked up to see how much money I had
I went on a long drive to a remote office and was wishing my heli was scirpted and ready to fly so I didn't have to drive.
I miss my Lamborgini that I own in SL when I am in RL
Tried to touch the monitor to get it to come on

The other day while outside *gasp* it does exist! I was looking up and saw a few planes out flying about and I immediatly thought that Cubey and the Aerodrome crew was out cruising.

Still counting prims and seeing if object I own in RL could have been built better with less prims.

Was looking for my cage gun so that I can annoy my co-workers.

1. Driving somewhere, wishing someone could just TP me to the spot. Would make life so much easier wouldn't it?

2. Actually studying items in RL wondering how many prims they take.

3. When sleeping to dream ideas of clothing designs and wake up to go make them ... yep now that i think is bad. LOL

I had a dream about SL once, i was sitting in Elfglen, and i got taken to the castle...but then i blew it up and it fell to pieces...supprizing no one got hurt, and we all made out....kinda weird huh???

Nother dream was a matrix kinda one, i saw myself fighting an entire group of Hamlet Lindens and Blue Lindens...it was like out of the Smith bug from the movie....tey were all crowding and attacking and trying to slow me down, but i kept fighting back blowing up things, then i transformed and my metal wings ripped outta my back, and i flew up high and did a friggin energy blast taking out half the group...That was when i fell outta my bed...

Another time i dreamt that there were deamons that posessed all the lindens and trapped the souls of every resident within the second life world...Kinda weird thing was, i liked it better then life hehehehe!

I have have quite a few dreams thatr have inspired me to do stuff in sl, but most part, its just been kickass to even BE in sl :D

LMFAO, thats funny cus... well here's the story...
We recently just bought our frst home and it's HUGE... the lay out is like this...

walk in the door, to the left is living room, to the right is the "formal living room", to the back is the kitchen and back door to the back yard where I smoke :P (don't smoke inside), towards the right back is the master bedroom with a HUGE bathroom and beautiful view of the backyard and trees.. then there is upstairs that has 2 other bedrooms, a den and a full bath, and a basement with a huge family room, bedroom, full bath, and laundry room...
Well... my office is in the master bedroom on the mainfloor so I can have easy access to the kitchen and outside... and upstairs in the den is another computer and right next to it we have a mini refrigierator full of beverages and pickles! YES I love pickles!

I think that's kinda good! I need to set my brain to try to do that (regarding houses).

As for prims, yes, I used to always look at things in terms of prims. Drive around the neighborhood, look at houses, think prims. Come home to my own, look at the venetian blinds alone, and try to imagine the number of prims in my own house.

Nowadays, I don't think of prim counts so much. Instead I find myself studying details. Rooflines, especially. Part of what used to be fun on vacatins for me was visiting new scrapbook stores. Now it's visiting scrapbook stores and looking at rooflines, lol. And other details.

You know your entire life is misplaced or at least weirded up a bit when you discover tyou're driving around on errands and studying mailbox structures at the same time, having never particularly noticed mailbox structures before. I mean, how pathetic is that? Or is it?

My husband is quite the builder - can make anything, including our whole deck. (But he can't hang gates right to save his life.) One day he said to me, you know I could have built a whole house faster than you build that one on line.

Yeah, I said, but you're doing it with binocular vision, and don't have to shift your camera view a hundred times every time you place something. And when you put a board down it stays there, rather than drifting of its own accord for no reason, and when you put the nails in, they stay there. Imagine if for no reason (though I suspect it is lag or my own error) every so often, for no reason at all, all the nails came out of your house (it gets entirely unlinked).

P.S. Not to mention having something go phantom on you so that for no reason at all, you're all of a sudden falling through the deck and have to determine which of the boards is causing it! haha

or P.S. You get ready to sell the house and discover something in it has decided you can't sell it, and you have to track down that board and replace it! lol I could think of a thousand of these.

coco

P.S. Having read further in the thread - I worry about you, Pypo.

Here's one that happened to me last week....I was looking at a website for a small local music venue and noticed the band Disturbed was playing....before I realized what I was doing, I went to click on the map to see how many green dots were there. :p

Stuck in traffic - looking at the buildings. trying to look at it from a prim view.. cuts and curves.. first time i did that.. i knew i had issues.

Hearing a song on the radio and you have a vision of avatars dancing.

I get up randomly at 3 in the morning cause I just thought of a new way to make something, or thought of something I want to make.

I tell my friends that I spent all night club hopping and they look at me funny cause they know I don't leave my room.

And I now believe I want to quit my RL job so that I can work full time in SL. My family does not understand.

PS. Is rezzing a rl word or a sl word cause people look at me weird when I use it, a lot.

Lately, I've been declaring "integer" types instead "int" types in my RL programs. Really annoying.

My RL Bad Habits.

I occassionally say 'woot' or 'suxxor'. Most people I'm around get it.

I occassionally say 'lawl' (LOL) in an ironic tone.

When I'm in a reception area, waiting for an interview or to talk to someone, I"ll try to ALT-TAB over to Firefox to do some surfing.

I try to pan the camera around traffic of cute girls, and behind computer desks to see the cables better.

I accidentally say "TP me" over the phone, and when they ask 'huh?' I start telling them how to Offer a TP. Damn n00bs.
