I would scramble and be the first to sell scripted penises ! DUH!

With the money I'd make, I could hire hitmen to "remove" the competition and become a Penis Baron!

Same answer as that last time this thread was posted a year ago:

Spend about 10 minutes laughing my arse off...

Load winamp with some Devo

Then start building.

I'd probably start over and make a better castle (I'm not super happy with what I have, and will likely be making a lot of improvements after I've finished).

I'd quit SL.

Honestly it sucks up too much of my time anyway.
Between my job, my social life and my other responsibilites... AND SL...
I could use more than 6 hours of sleep a night for once.

Would you build differently? Would you try a different business? Would you run around mature sims naked screaming "the sky is falling!"

What would you do really?

Yes, Maybe, and Sure! :P

Actually, the same thing most of us would probably do - start over again, making slightly different and better stuff knowing what I know now.

I'd run around buying up all the nice waterfront land in the northeast (which would of course, all have gone public) until my tier was filled :)

Then I'd rebuild exactly as it was.

Then I'd host a game of primtionary!

Sigh a bit, put a pot of coffee on, reupload my clothing textures, pull all my vendor scripts back out of CVS, pull the rest of my scripts out of CVS, do some building.

I could have my clothing line back up and onsale in about ten minutes. The store in another ten. Not that I'd necessarily be expecting a lot of sales, except for my new "I survived the database wipe and all I got was this lousy tee-shirt" shirts, which I predict would be a big seller. :)

I am afraid this has happened before...

...I hope that no one has to live through something like that again.

The world has changed much since The Erase. A few buildings have been restored, but for the most part everything is new. The Lindens' technology has allowed for even greater manipulation of prims and land than in my day. Many of the regions above Caravel and east of Nova Albion are now hardly recognizable to me.

The Lindens had cleared out the rubble from the old city (found by Magellan Linden) before setting it up for new residents. We rebuilt the Brownstones after winning our old land in the city auctions. It was important to me that we did.

So much gone. Every time the Lindens have opened new tracts of land they have been empty. Well, for the most part. It was surprising to see the Great Moth Temple in the north appear fully intact when those regions were revealed. Even more so, the remains of the ancient Wall of the Northern Boundary. Curious. I wonder how those places survived?

I miss the old world. Sometimes, when I sit outside the cafe in Nova Albion and close my eyes, I can almost hear the hiss of the gas lamps that used to line the streets. But I have to admit--I am enchanted by so many of the new things that people have created here.

I'm just so glad to see people here again.
