... with all the doom and gloom postings, respected veteran players leaving and the apparant disregard of players from LL staff sure makes it hard for a new player to be optimistic and encouraged about the future. I know forums can be a cess pool of angst but heck the negative feeling around here are pretty depressing. If the forums are painting a bleak vision of the future, take a look at the present! I on the other hand went in the other direction. Since the large-script-edit-slowdown bug is not yet fixed I turned to avatar making. Sio and the guys got to see my new leprechaun avi. Did some more work on him today and it looks sooo coool. Brace yourself FurNation ... if inspiration keeps biting me, this non-furry will have an avi that will qualify as a furry. ... But I remain non-furry at any rate. oh how fun, how bout a pixie? |

But eventually SL will weather the storm, or be overtaken by the competitors Philip is so keen to pit SL against. Either way, we win. Enjoy the ride and ignore the bumps! _____________________

honestly they are being sensationalist.. No. The long term ppl here have very legitamate complaints based on old promises made that have not been fulfilled. however, that doesn't really directly affect new members. It does impact us indirectly however. Remember that most of the cool stuff you see in SL was created by the long term members, not by LL. Be grateful. |
