How are the self-repairing robots coming? Are they going to build you a new computer?

Where is the goddamn "Great post" button? @.@

You know, I probably should not had posted this here about the lag and maybe in a few days it will vanish. But others should not had made fun of my report as well. People tell me that the reason they do not post anywhere in these forums is because of what happens to me in the forums. I tell them its only happening to me and they say, "yeal, right" and still refuse to post.

My God!!!

This was just a simple report that I was getting lag. Not a license for people to make fun of me. It is also not an attack on Linden Labs.

Its just a simple report.

Several posters (myself included) simply relayed their experiences. Other were snarky.
I don't mean to be rude, but this is the g*ddamn internet. If you don't want snark, you may be hanging out on the wrong worldwide network of computers. People have been snarky to one another since I first started posting to usenet and ISCABBS back in 1990.

I get about the same client FPS as before, with the exception that the whole client freezes for a second or two when I move around and large chunks of prims come into view. Not pleasant. Also, the new lighting makes shadows on avatar faces very harsh :-/

My latest stats while in SL

Computer:

HP Custume 2.5GHz
1Gig Ram
NVidia E-GeoForce 6600 at 256MB ram
Cable Modem on Faulty Comcast lines

Second Life:
Personal FPS= 17FPS

Sim FPS=45 (highest it will go)

Test direct to Comcast from my house to their Nashville Office, indicates line noise which has been reported.

The lag is gone. And I admitt I should had just waited an hour or so.

And I will tell you I will never make fun of anyone.

I've always wanted a snark. They are so cute and make funny noises! They also like to hop around and chase after your adversaries, although they do sometimes get confused. It just sucks that they blow up in 15 seconds or so. :(

Who's my little snarkie? Joo are! ^.^

I blame the furries. It's a scientifically proven fact that furries cause lag... almost as much lag in fact, as goreans, though obviously nowhere near as much as vampires...

Heynow! I resemble that remark :P

That's just normal workplace lag... it's caused by bosses with primmy pointy hair.
