From: Moopf Murray haha, well I added that on the end of my post because, knowing how people's minds work here, they'd probably presume that I was defending the invited list because I'd been invited  I really don't mind not having an invite - it's a normal way to bed-in something and I don't see a problem with it. I am looking forward to seeing what else the BBC/Radio 1 do with these islands going forward though, I think it's a great boon to SL to have a corporation like the BBC, with a global reach, actively using the platform. .. and I am only joking with a smile.. . i dont se any what so ever with it.. ) I have other things to do.. take care of... as I mentioned.. Took some new pics btw ) Will show them soon.. BUT the funny thing are that this is one of the first HUGE Europa things in SL. (Ok there have been others).. so of course WE Europeans would (probably) love have a look... /Tina -- Still wave with her card... no IMs.. so far LOL... will be fun when i cal AMEX and order them to get an invite in SL.. lauder LOL |

Looks like they may be playing favourites, if some residents got invitations and others had to delve deep to get the information.
Cali I got invited via email because I'm on the Rivers Run Red mailing list. No big secret conspiracy here!

From: Moopf Murray Judging from Fizik's comments on another thead, this is a pilot for the BBC sims and wasn't supposed to be covered in the press, but it got leaked. Yeah, and those WMD are just one sand dune away from being discoevered by George Bush. As far as I can see, he put the event in the Events Calendar. Now, I'm just a techi-wiki-anarcho-hippie, and I only got a "C" in my marketing class, but I don't think you keep things from being leaked by making a note of them on a public calendar. EDIT: Or, maybe I'm wrong, and at was a Real Life thing. Ignore what I done be said above. EDIT 2: Except about the WMD's. That's true. Thise are just one sand dune over.
