From: Leam Cunningham After looking at it and the accompanying thread, I'm torn. I like a good deal of them, but some of the proposals are, in my opinion, a bit much. Example: If LL implemented shared banlists, I'd be willing to bet that they'd fudge it by not recording much context. Travis' BanLink sounds like a much better solution for that part of it. I think maybe going after these one at a time would be more productive.
I suppose it doesn't matter much, now... Yeah, I know :-/ The reason for this is that I created 1632 way before BanLink was public... and I cannot now go back and edit 1632 to remove the ban sharing clauses because I said I would not change the prop after a certain date, and that date has passed. I hope that LL have the sense to think "hm, BanLink exists, so we should probably work on the other proposals here that would assist BanLink, like giving scripts owned by the sim owner scripted access to add/delete/list estate bans". Just in case they don't, I'll probably post to the topic clarifying this Also, the reason I went after them as a big bunch is that: 1) It's easier to get 500 votes on one prop than it is to get 500 votes on a bunch of different but related props. 2) Having it all in one place gives LL a sort of 'laundry list' of things to do. 3) Having all the ideas in one prop helps LL see how they are connected and helps get more attention on ideas which otherwise are too small to pass on their own (like adding 'reason' and 'setter' fields to land ban lists). 4) I have limited time - campaigning for one vote is hard enough.... I don't have the energy to campaign enough for all the different votes to get them all passed.

From: Angel Fluffy It's easier to get 500 votes on one prop than it is to get 500 votes on a bunch of different but related props. This makes a lot of sense, but I noticed that a good number of changes that have been implemented in the past did not take hundreds of votes to get the attention of the Linden coders. The laundry list is useful for organizational purposes, but it also means you won't see any of them until all of them are ready.
