Today I was shopping for a castle sort of building/house. I was in [edited], looking at the different buildings forsale the signs have a thing you pick what one you want to look at and click it and it res's the building so you can go in and look. So I was checking out the lay outs and how the different ones looked inside and outside. I had interest in a few of them so i was looking and compairing the sizes and layouts. so then as im looking the person owning the shops/sim came by and said " **** ********: DON'T REZZ SO MANY AT ONCE AS YOU WILL CRASH MY SIM" **** ********: WTF ARE YOU DOING" **** ******** ejected and banned you from this land. Not even giving me a chance to say anything. I was typing a reply as I was banned and ejected from the sim. this is a totaly wrong way to treat a customer. I could understand if I was up there causing problems and stuff, but just shopping and looking is a totaly wrong reason to bann someone. WTF am I supposed to do buy one of the buildings with out looking first? So watch out you might get banned if you go looking in it.

In the Limbo sim, where they sell the dragon avatars, you can rez a "holo" of the avatar to see what it looks like, but I believe the scripts are linked so that it clears out any previous holos first before rezzing a new one. You seem to have run into someone who is punishing you for his own lack of scripting features.

Sounds like someone whose problems will be cleared up as soon as he can't cover tier costs anymore because of his own stupidity.
Ah, Darwin, how I adore thee.

That person also muted me after banning me so I couldn't say I didn't know I was doing anything wrong by looking resing the buildings. Im still banned from the place. This is the first time I've ever been banned from a place for shopping.

Even if the sim had crashed, the shop-owner's incompetence would be at fault. So, the shop-owner lost a potential sale and customer (along with any word-of-mouth customers) as a result of one bad decision.
I'll PM you with the name of someone who makes castle-like buildings and would actually appreciate your business.

Cinthya, don't let the small stuff bug you too much. There are plenty of builders out there that would be happy to build you a castle. Type in: castles, prefab, homes, and the like to find a rather large list of builders. Good luck!!

hmmm... imagine what this idiot would do if he had a whole bunch of interested customers rezzing his buildings at once... would he biff them all out?
this is just poor business practice... he should have asked nicely first.
i wonder if anyone gives lessons on customer service and relations to socially inept shop owners in second life?

Actually, I propose a spontaneous in-game event! Let's all go to Camelot Creations and begin maliciously rezzing the vendor's example castles!

Hmmmm, I've only heard one side of the story here, so won't be jumping on any bandwagon. I've had great experiences with Camelot -- including terrific and patient customer service.

Its not very good customer service to eject and bann a customer for looking resing the different buildings trying to decide what one to get. and not even giving that customer time to reply. on top of that muting the customer. I wasn't rude or anything I didn't even have a chance to say anything, I didn't know resing the buildings and going inside of them looking was causing problems. I didn't get a chance to reply to what the owner siad. I was ejected and banned as i was typing a reply. then muted when I tryed to IM the owner to say I was sorry I didn't mean to cause any trouble. the owner could of asked me to not res them. It was uncalled for to eject and bann me form the sim. Thats not good customer service at all.

This is the first time I've ever been banned from a place for shopping. Just write out what you want to tell the land owner in a notecard. Then just drop it on their profile. Even if you are banned and muted, they will still get the notecard. Of course there is no guarantee that it will be read, but at least you can make your case.

I was just there, nobody is on the ban list, I rezed as many pre-fabs as I could (only one per rezzing machine) and nobody said a word to me. When you switch buildings on each sign it clears the current one and only puts up a new one if you click the picture.
Not sure why this person freaked out on you, but you are not on a ban list there unless there is some other security feature other than the in-game ban feature for one's land.

Actually, any of us can take a peek at the ban list. I just looked at one for an island parcel, and saw the names. This tale about Camelot is puzzling to me. I was there a few months ago, and had great customer service. I can't make the connect between that, and what I'm reading here. In the interest of hearing both sides, I've dropped the owner an IM with a link to this thread. Hopefully she'll come and share her side with us.

I'm stunned by folks blindly walking into a boycot of something without knowing all of the facts. Those posters who have thier own businesses, especially, should be a little more tempered in their rush to judgement.
