Yaknow, when I say something, I research it. Not saying someone here didn't, just... perhaps that they should learn something from the situation they brought upon themselves.

Col. Mustard, in the library, with the revolver.

Have euthanized the farting Australian dog who was using both grids

Please advise of any improvements you have observed

Much obliged

Magnum, provide some technical evidence.

Also, please consider that THE PREVIEW GRID HAS BEEN UP ALL ALONG. It was only opened to the SL populus recently, but HAS BEEN THERE FOR AGES... remember 1.4 preview? Its been around since at least then, so a year. I HIGHLY doubt that the preview grid has anything to do with your sudden noticed lag.

Have you:

Swept your computer for spyware;
Swept your computer for viruses;
Tried re-formatting / re-installing XP... when was your last total wipe and install?;
Contacted a tech expert (Linden or non-Linden) to examine potential causes of lag within the sim;

NO?

Then stop jumping to conclusions. You have a bad habit of doing that without the technical expertise to back it up, amig0, which is why people with technical backgrounds and education come leaping into the fray.

I blame zombies. :-)

Haven't heard much more about preview-induced lag. Update requested.

I think Magnum is to blame for ALL lag in Second Life.

Indeed. Magnum has been here since 2003. SL has been lagging since 2003. Ergo, Magnum caused the lag.
