I understand it's a mature sim, but is it necessary for such blatant pornographic material to be placed where everyone can see? Can't you keep that private? Blarg. (Also, that land is not for sale, it's someone's product they're selling via a bug floating cube depicting a naked women.  )I was wondering if this is against the rules in anyway, or if it's alright with LL, because it's really bugging me. Hmm, instead of insiting drama in the forums, have you thought of simply asking the landowner to change the sign? Or is it more the sign itself rather than the content that bugs you? Why did you not put a picture of the sign in the forum for all to see?
I see these sorts of posts all the time, usually a relatively unoffensive texture on a very large, rotating sign and people will try the "porn" context to get the sign taken down. Here is a naked woman by Courbet that should really get you steamed even though it is hanging in a museum that anyone, any age can see. It's called Origin of the World and it is not pornography no matter what your WASP/APE sensibilities are. Seems like the definitions of art and pornography are entirely based on one's personal opinion. Even Congress has had a very hard time passing laws that define precisely where that divider line goes. Consider that the Attorney General of the US, John Ashcroft, spent thousands of dollars covering up a statue's breast, even though that statue or its depiction is well known and is displayed publically in many museums and literary works.
