Happens every update - everyone swarms back to get onto SL as fast as they can (and I don't blame them) - everyone gets all their goodies handed back to them from a freshly booted grid and everything starts to grind to a halt.... users 'wardial' to get on and the whole things starts to back up...

It settles down eventually - I don't even bother nowadays till 2 hours after they say its back up...

Well.. it's not an 'excuse' because I don't work for LL.....

What it is - is the way it's gone down every single major update for as long as I can remember....

And thats the number of ppl in world - not the number of ppl queued up outside the gates pounding unholy crap outta the asshat server.
