Interesting. Typical fox fare.

And what was with Phil's eyes? He must be hitting the coffee pot a lot these days. ;)

I have one question since Philip brought it up. Who is making a 6 figure income this year in SL. Come on now this world is not big enough for any one person to be making that kind of money. Well ok maybe Philip was talking about LL staffers. Min. 100,000.00 US I would love to see proof of that but I seriously doubt any proof will ever be seen.

Marketing hype? Yeah I think that is exactly what that is. You arn't making 100k if it cost you 60k to begin with. You make 40k. Sorry I just don't buy this.

One person is, Martin. Verified, at least. Think "Everybody Wang Chung tonight", but with less wang.

... Come to think of it, SL could use less wang.

Sorry to disappoint all my fans. The gentleman in the story isn't me. It must be a William Withnail imposter.

Will all this press coverage ever make the IRS take notice? If people cash out on the Lindex it will be so much easier to trach who is making what, and with a quick supeona to LL, to aquire all the info. Bam!

Doh! didn't even know that! But then Torley you know EVERYONE, heh.

I'll have to drop him a line, and point him to where to see the video if he hasn't already -- I'm sure he has...

Well, that's not a problem if you're reporting on a 1099-MISC in the US. I've done a lot of contracting in the past so I'm used to that method.

You Republicans, always worried about the money. Who makes what and how much. :D /waves Hi to Eboni! Just poking a little fun at you.

Yes this does bring up a good topic that I am sure has been discussed before. One would assume that you are suppossed to claim any money made over a certain amount to the IRS. Like in Vegas if you win over $1249 on a slot machine I think it is, you have to fill out a form.

Just sucks to me that this was broadcast on upgrade night! Bunch of folks probably did a web search after seeing that, tried to make an account, and failed, due to the downtime :(
