NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! :(

We can only hope that our SL Content Creators will pick up the banner and wear items on their heads first before placing them out to copy/sell so Newbies (and Oldbies!) can still enjoy an integral part of SL living! :p

I'm in for that. We shall overcome!!!

So in the future, visitors to my little Linden Bear Museum will scratch their heads in wonder when they look a Catherin Linden’s Bear wearing a cube on her head.

They won't be able to scratch their heads with a cube on their hand.

We must go through changes in life. Even though we don't like changes. At least we have the memories. Thank goodness I at least have some pics of having a box on my head....heheee

Now all us old timers will have to listen to the newbies complain about boxes getting stuck on their hands, and quip back, "Back in my day, we had to wear those boxes on our heads, ya young whippersnapper! So don't me me none of that about looking silly with a box on yer hand until you have had to spend two years with it on your head before LL gave ya a way to get it off! kid's these days!"

I hear ya. They should be concentrating on the lag issues instead of the important stuff like boxes on heads. I'll sure miss those days. Oh how I remember my first day. I looked pretty good with that car on my head.

Boxes are fun enough, but nothing will compare with the sight of 3 n00bs dancing with CABINS on their heads!

I was sore for a day from laughing!

I'm going to wear a box on my head in protest!

(It's better than the motorcycle I actually did wear on my head as a newbie.)

I seem to do the prim on the head at least once a week. Most entertaining was when I put a prim skirt on my head. In a fit of amusement, I told people it was a lampshade.

Maybe someone has posted this thought already... but there is a non-noob, very significant advantage to wearing a box on the head. It allows one to unpack boxes even on land where building is not permitted.

The HAND? Urg. I can just see me trying to unpack a box worn on my right hand. Every time I try to point to it... it moves.

Where DO they come up with these ideas? And what makes them think it's a "feature" or necessary? What difference does it make if something appears on the right hand or on the head? Why did it need to be changed? As aptly said, another SL rite of passage gone, gone, gone. Weep profusely SL! We loved our head boxes!

Surely there are more important things to consume programmer time! Bring back the boxhead!!! :(

So, my cat died, my aunt had a stroke, and my mom got ran over by a 18-wheeler..

But for this, this is where I will hold my moment of silence.

Truely, a sacred tradition has died. I've seen my share of newbie box-heads in the past, and it always made me smile.. Made me remember back when I joined SL, and was.. for once brief minute.. a box-head. It was my welcoming, it was my induction.. And Ive always happily greeted those box-heads Ive met, and welcomed them to thier new life, done what I can to help'em.

*sniffles..*

Dont take that away! Its part of who we are!

IN PROTEST, WE THE UNDERSIGNED... or OVERSIGNED.. or WHATEVER...
do protest by using the following texture and giving free copies to whomever shall ask! Or not ask! Or whatever!

(well durn, it's looks like they've cancelled the "attach image" function too!)

I know why! It's so we can't protest the removal of boxheads!

You can have my boxhead when you pry it from my cold, dead, err... head.

I will be boxheading in protest.
