Good plan, can that be some kind of a builders creed? Any time you put something in a box, attach it to the head slot before putting it in the vendor?

Any time we see a box attach to the right hand we can scoff and make comments about 'low quality'

This is bad bad news.

I've been working on a newbie box too that's prim hair friendly, it attaches to the chin but is adjusted to go on the head. Its full of good stuff for newbies, and can be worn to all social engagements by more experienced players who want to maintain their look.

I was planning to have a "box on your head" party too. All my work for naught.

It may make sense to change the defaul to hand, but its become a beloved part of SL now to have boxes on your head.

Please LL, let new players have the same right of passage we all did. You haven't truly played SL until you have at least one object on your head.

Something funnyer might happen if you put it on your hand.... na the head is a classic place. It is a pain when it laggs and i place stuff on my head by accident, the car look does not suit me. oooooooooooooooo................ car on hand will be like terminater 3 with the woman. she merges with it and slams it on poor old arnold.

hehe (This is Travis, btw). It was taken almost a year ago to the day, for our game show at the Shelter called Payment Podium.

We'd had a rash of new folks in that day that genuinely had 'boxhead' syndrome. In an effort to not make them feel so silly, we all thought we'd don plywood cubes.

Later that it morphed into everyone modifying the plywood cubes & giving them some style - by the time we were done it was time for the game show.... so why take 'em off

If you look closely in the center, you'll see my boxhead with my big nose

I think they chose the right hand instead of the left so that all the "engaged" and "married" and those who just wear rings on their left hands won't have to find them in their inventory everytime they accidentally wear a box. So it's more like discrimination of the un-partnered.

Well then it's also a discrimination of the Europeans - outside the Anglo-American hemisphere, partners wear their wedding rings on the RIGHT hand.

I forsee a wave of citizens intentionaly making boxes with "bring back box head" printed on them and walking around the grid with them on.........
Actually I'm really going to miss this. I always got a good laugh at my own expense when, after 5 months or so in game, I still get in a hurry and rez things on my head.
(especially amusing if its a 200 or so prim airplane)

You mean I'm going to have to work harder next time, I want to accidentally put a pair of dance balls on my head? Darn, I was looking forward to doing that again around people that would jump up and dance there. It would be a good photo op.
