my "rule set" for sl behavior, "avi to avi", from advice and and experience so far...

sl rule set 1-0

  2. Say "no" to projects by default, unless it's a really juicy one
  3. Friends are more important than fiddling around with prims
  4. Only rate in appropriate categories (does this even matter anymore?)
  5. Never pass up the opportunity to make something shiny
  6. Log out leaving things at least a little bit better than when I logged on

    * When making something, make it like the customer wants it.
    * If I don't know how the customer wants it, make it let them choose.
    * Don't try to use SL for anything other than playing SL.
    * If you're going to wind up using textual poses for the detail of something, use text for the whole thing - no point spending time and money on graphics that don't complete the job.
