Neither is what Buster is doing or anyone else. I am just merely pointing out that the argument you are using could be used against you. Everyone is communicating. It is the point of the forums.

An attention thing?

Enabran, sometimes I wonder about you. I have my whole life taken part in things. When I have something to say, or when I want to focus a discussion and accomplish something with it, I do it. Nobody has ever viewed this as an "attention-getting" thing on my part.

Everyone has always listened, and talked. WITH respect. It's how things get done.

Your implication is that I'm stupid and have nothing to say. In fact, you actually say I only "state the obvious." If that were true, Enabran, I would not be where and what I am irl.

The threads were in rapid succession because the events were coming down in rapid succession. Look at those titles. Be reasonable. You KNOW there was logic and intellect in it.

For the umpteenth time, Cocoanut, if you're really so bursting with things to call me, just get it over with. Do it via PM if you fear more edits from Jeska. As for your penchant for stating the obvious, well, I guess there is a sort of community service element to letting us know "where we are now" about things even after Robin, et al, have made it abundantly clear.

One of the great things about language is that someone can dance around a subject and everyone else knows what they mean.

Try reading the thread, Enabran, instead of just criticizing it. It was taking the various elements of what we are losing in classifieds - and a request to brainstorm to figure out other ways to accomplish those ends.

In it, I listed the various parts of classifed that would no longer be here, and suggested how we would handle them in future. For instance, "Products Wanted" would be less of a problem, because someone (maybe Robin) had said we could discuss at least discuss those under the posts-only.

Job opportunities and Jobs wanted - those would be trickier. I suggested we could put them under "Scripting," "Building," and "Events." Someone else said that they thought the scripters wouldn't like that. Then the person said they thought they remembered that people had done it before and the request had been removed. Or something. Etc. etc. etc.

I shouldn't have to be recapping this for you, to explain that it was a detailed analysis of where we stood regarding the classifieds we were losing, and a request to brainstorm what we could do about them.
