As it seems impossible to have a thread

a) with Anshe posting in it

or

b) with reference to Anshe's posts

without the thread being closed due to 'no obvious constructive discussion in this thread' what conclusions can be drawn about the usefulness of Anshe continuing to be allowed forum posting privileges?

Discuss... constructively...

Who's being stifled, exactly?

You're serious about wanting to have Anshe permabanned from the forums?

In that case, crusade away!

Did *I* say Anshe should be perma-banned? *shock - horror*

Nope. Just wanted people to discuss the point of having someone in the forums who does what Anshe manages to do...

Perish the thought of having such a sweetly reasonable individual who scrupiously obeys the forum rules banned.

(grabs a handful of Kris' popcorn)

Whats Anshe done? At least she doesnt create stupid polls every 10 mins asking the SL population their views on any and everything like certain forum regulars do.

Discounting the question in part a, how is this Anshe's problem? People can't control themselves while discussing what you say, therefor what you say should be removed?

And, please, more Ponzi Polls! :p

Mind you... you MIGHT be onto something with this logic. Because people can't seem to stop responding to blaze's constant trolling either. So he should go, by all accounts. Changed my mind - I'm with you all the way on this one!

Personally, I think it sucks that someone can come into the forums and make accusations of fraud and all sorts of malfeasance without so much as a shred of evidence to support the claim.

For all of AC's complaints about what people say about here, she has an amazing propensity for slinging mud herself.

I'm certainly not suggesting that AC should be permabanned, but I do hope she gets disciplined the same as any of us would if we were to pull the same kinda crap.

Of course, the difference is that you or I COULD get permabanned, and I don't see that ever happening to AC.

Search me. Obviously she hasn't in any way violated forum rules, or the threads she recently started would have been shut down immediately, instead they are allowed to run to several hundred posts in some cases before being closed, despite showing no sign of dying a natural death, because there is 'no obvious constructive discussion in this thread'.

Likewise mentioning the threads in question seems to be a kiss of death to a thread.

Somehow Anshe is killing threads. So, I was interested in seeing if people think there is much point in having her in the forums...

If anybody could teach a master class in trolling, Blaze could.

Blaze Spinnaker = BS = Bullshit?

Given what I read from Blaze, I have a hard time with the idea that it's just random. ;-)

With so much other bullshit in these forums, I'd welcome her to kill more threads.

AC has a lot to contribute, IMO, but she seems to spend more of her time either starting something or defending herself against something.

About a month ago, I had a nice, fairly lengthy IM with Anshe. It was very enjoyable and I like her. She's personable (and as can happen on the internet, not quite like her posts would portray her) and she's got great business skills.

And while I don't necessarily agree with all of her business practices or opinions, I wouldn't hesitate to buy land from her in the future.

All that said, there isn't a lot of middle ground when it comes to AC. People either like her or they hate her (for some reason, I'm one of the relative few middle ground folks).

Ok. Do that before I'm permabanned, will ya? Don't you automatically get banned from inworld too now if you get banned from the forum? Ya know, the rule that came in same day Prok was banned, a few hours later.

Hmmm, wonder how many sims you have to own before you become un-banable?

It's not so much a specific number as a proportion of total sims.
