I recently did away with the casino at Shamrock Mall. Now I have an entire third level and no idea what to do with it. I thought about renting it in stalls or as one huge store but would rather do something more interesting with it. Any suggestions?

here's a serious idea. pardon my lower case, my keyboarding sharing program has gone wonky.
a flying race, with obstacles to make to make it a slalom style race, and betting on who wins. may not be a good idea, but it is made with serious intent. I love flying under bridges, between the buildings at Nexus Prime, and such places. it is possible other people might like it. you could use some volume detect objects, i think, to monitor the avatars path around the track. house would get a percentage of the bets, of course. might sell flight aids, races could be in classes if needed, unassisted or with standardized assist or go hog wild use your own. the big central structure at help island now has four big long walkways that have space to fly under, it is fun flying under one and over the next . add competive races and maybe people would like it . _____________________

I haven't created my Sumo Pit so go ahead and do that. A coupla weeks ago I was in a club that had mud wrestling. Whoever made it did a good job, but it was kinda dumb. All the wrestling was obviously pre-scripted in pose balls. _____________________

SuezanneC, I love your idea! Unfortunately, I have not done any flying in sl so I think I would need help with this one. I can build a little but have zero scripting experience. The mall is on a 14,336 sq. m. site is that enough room? also on site is a SL-ingo area and a peaceful garden area. Do you think you could help me if i go this route? |

Multi-purpose the place.
Have several diffferent setups available, rezzed and derezzed with scripts. Possibly users could choose whether the place would be a flying race area or a dance hall, or change the setup to perform different purposes at different times of day, or on different days of the week. Instead of just rezzing and derezzing the prims to change the settings use the same prims and have them change shape, position and texture changing from one function to the other. That way the changing process itself would be cool. Morphing buildings. _____________________
