No Modify Permission issue?

I have a linked object with the - modify / no copy / transfer - perms set. When I take the object into my inventory "no modify)" shows up next to the object name.

Also, when I look at the properties of the object by right clicking the object name in inventory, modify rights are greyed out and unselected. What is happening? This is happening with all of the stuff I make.

The biggest clue you've given me is From this, my best guess is that you are applying textures that are no-modify, causing the whole thing to give you a (no modify) indicator when you take it into the inventory.

I do have a script within a prim that is "no modify". That one script is causing this? I will look at the link you gave me and read more about it. Thanks for the reply.
