Try searching the events list, or set the filter to educational classes. Teazers has a lot of classes, though I cannot tell how good they are because I have never been to one myself.

Have a look at this thread for tips & tricks for building with very small prims. If you need to brush up your general building knowledge first, search for the Ivory Tower of Primitives in Find. (It's an excellent, self-paced building tutorial)
