Ok I'm trying to make some prim shoes...Made the shoe quite large in size after reading some suggestions in forums to make it easier to work with. Now i want to shrink it down to right size, so used stretch tool, but there seems to be a limit on how small it can shrink it...is there a limit on how small it can go? Maybe I am using the wrong tool all together...hope that made some sense lol. Somebody please help...am almost bald from pulling hair out.

When you shrink a link set, all individual prims shrink proportionally.
Keep in mind - the smallest an individual prim can be (without prim torture ) is .01m.So - you will be unable to shrink your linkset beyond what would take the smallest prim in the set down to .01m, if that makes sense. I'm no expert builder - just a jack of all. Possibly an expert in this area can give you a little better detail than I can ![]() Hope this helps regardless! ![]() |

the smallest a prim will go is 0.01 even if its 10m by 10m by .01 you can Scale it
whay you can do is edit the linked parts after you scale it and see what part is .01, then in the object pannel edit the size from .01 to .1 and scale again but that will make your prim higher or wider but some thime looks ok still, the other way is to replace the part with a cut prim, cut prims look smaller than .01 try this thread: /8/da/27520/1.html -LW |

Hey Travis
Where can I learn how to Prim Torture? Is it just that scripts can set prims to smaller sizes ? Edit: oh whoops. the above just appeared - I'll explore it. Edit again. I just did, amazing. Is THAT what "prim torture" is ? No scripts at all? |
