Anyone have any resources/reading on building Avatars? I am coming up empty. I would like to experiment with making my own but I can't figure out where to start. Anything from basic to advanced would be good. I can build and script.

By building avatar - I assume you are talking about the prim base avatars.
There a plenty of free examples around that you can look at. Basically you have prims that attach to the various parts of you 'real' av. Animation override may be necessary if the new avatar is not humanoid shaped. |

Hey Oil, I've been looking around for the same type of info lately too. Here's a great thread with a bunch of tutorials dealing with making clothes, hair, attachments, tatoos, all kinds of things. Check it out hope it helps, good luck.

I kept poking around after I posted my question and started hitting on responses for "building bodies." My thinking was of replacing the AV with a new one, but I guess that is not possible.
